Guizhou Normal University (GZNU) was founded in 1941 as National Guiyang Teachers’ College. In 1985, it was formally entitled as Guizhou Normal University and awarded as “A Key University in Guizhou Province” in 1996. In 2004, the Provincial Vocational College of Technology incorporated in GZNU. It was authorized to grant Doctorate degree in July 2013.
GZNU is located in Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou Province. There are three campuses at present, which are Baoshan Campus, Baiyun Campus and Huaxi Campus, with a total area over 2,000,000m2. 25000 full-time undergraduates and more than 2700 postgraduates are studying on the three campuses, with a staff of 2434.
