Shanghai Second Polytechnic University (SSPU) was founded in 1960. With a focus on engineering, SSPU is renowned for its academic achievements in multiple disciplines, including Economics, Management, Humanities, Science and Art. The university mainly provides undergraduate education, complemented by postgraduate, higher vocational, and international education. Within its six academic disciplines, the university offers 1 master program, 37 bachelor program and 30 higher vocational programs. Currently, the university has nearly 1,100 faculty and staff, and over 17,000 students. Since September 2011, the university has enrolled more than 300 overseas students from countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, America and Oceania.
