In order to promote and introduce China higher education development, expand the impact of Chinas higher education, attract the best foreign students to study in China, the China Scholarship Council successively held the China Education Exhibition in St. Martins University Cultural Center of Buenos Aires of Argentina, the China Trade Center of Sao Paulo of Brazil, and National Autonomous University of Mexico. the China Scholarship Council organized 73 members from 31 domestic well-known college and universities of Beijing University, Fudan University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Zhejiang University, Jilin University, Northwestern University and etc. to attend the exhibition, which covered a variety of comprehensive, Science and Engineering, Normal and medicine and other college and universities.
The exhibition in the three countries has attracted many visitors. And the local media has reported a lot of the exhibit. The exhibition plays a good role in deepening the public and the communitys understanding on China, enlarging the image and influence of China higher education.
During the Exhibition, the delegation also held the Sino-Brazil information exchanging fair of higher education institution in Brazil, the introductory session of China higher education in Mexico, and also attend the opening ceremony of the President Conference of Mexico national key college and universities. The delegation publicize China higher education and introduce Chinese higher education institutions through various means.
This is the first time that the China Scholarship Council held the China Education Exhibition in Latin American countries. Chinese Embassy attached great importance and support to the exhibition, which also got the aborative prepation from local organizational structures. All these guaranteed the success the Exhibition. Through the Education, the participating institutions has deepened the understanding to the local education, established a wide range of contacts and laid a good foundation for the future education cooperation and exchanges with Latin American countries.
